Shawn Kronen

Shawn Kronen is a high-end residential designer based in Atlanta and Naples, known for creating refined interiors that seamlessly align with each client’s vision and lifestyle. His work is defined by meticulous attention to detail, thoughtful composition, and spaces that communicate elegance without excess.

For Shawn, every interior tells a story. Each project reflects the personality, taste, and aspirations of the client, translating their vision into environments that feel both deeply personal and timeless. His approach blends creative vision with practical expertise—balancing architecture, interiors, and craftsmanship through thoughtful problem solving, value engineering, and hands-on project management.

Often described as the “Swiss Army knife” of interior designers, Shawn plays a uniquely comprehensive role in the design process. He serves as the central point of coordination for the entire project team—working closely with architects, landscape designers, builders, electricians, artisans, and contractors to ensure every detail aligns with the overall vision. By overseeing the full scope of a project from concept through completion, he brings clarity, cohesion, and precision to even the most complex homes.

In 2013, Shawn founded Kronen Design, LLC, building on more than two decades of experience in luxury design. Prior to launching his firm, he was a Senior Design Associate at Hirsch Bedner Associates, where he spent nine years leading the design and production of high-profile projects for distinguished international clientele.

Before relocating to Atlanta, Shawn spent thirteen years in New York City working with some of the industry’s most influential designers. He began his career at Aero Studios with Thomas O’Brien, followed by work with Bill Sofield at Studio Sofield. He later spent seven years collaborating with Alan Tanksley at Alan Tanksley, Inc., contributing to an extensive portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality, and retail projects worldwide.

Shawn’s expertise spans interior architecture, construction coordination, bespoke detailing, project management, and decorative design, with a particular passion for custom furniture and architectural elements.
